In 1960 Murl & Eleanor Nelson originated a caramel apple company in South El Monte,California named the Daffy Apple Company. In addition to their succesful business mindsets Murl & Elenor were strong supporters of local schools & community organizations. They helped these groups acheive their fundraising goals by selling Daffy Apples. In the same spirit of success and community, Murl & Elenors son Steve & his wife Mary joined the Daffy Apple Company In 1968.
Over the years, Steve & Mary Have expanded the Daffy Apple Company to
Include a delicous variety of products such as caramel popcorn, icetickles,
cotton candy, soup mixes, and gourmet mustards to name a few. Today the company is known as California Snack Food. Steve and Mary have always believed in having exceptional customer service and always helping better
the community.
California Snack Foods is now open to serve Utah thanks to Steve & Marys daughter Jennifer and husband Michael. The Utah branch of California Snack Foods offers all the same delicious varieties of snack foods, with a new division of Inflatable bounce houses, slides, catering and fun food machine rentals. We are excited to expand and carry on the tradition for many years to come.
